His groin is in pieces. Missed so many games for Marseille before he joined us and then missed half of our games too.

They're paying his wages and giving us £2m for the pleasure.

    Great bit of business.

Got a feeling Remy will sustain injury after injury during the season just like DJ Campbell. Great work as you said Brightsparx.

Don't players on loan get sent back to their home club if injured?

I think that usually only happens when its a short term loan or an injury that puts them out for the season. If the deal is Newcastle pay us 2 million plus pay his wages then they can send him where they like, they'll still have to cough up the dosh!

Would anyone know if this was an injury sustained training, or an act of god perhaps?

If it were a long standing injury then surely both QPR and Newcastle medicals should have picked it up!

from the Mirror in January 2013

In a career that has taken him from Lyon to Lille on to Nice and then to Marseille, Remy has had to contend with several injury problems – particularly a recent troublesome thigh. He also missed out on Euro 2012 because of injury but The Hoops saw no major cause for concern in his medical.

I think his injury is perhaps called "hypochondriac".

At least he will get the proper treatment during the whole season and get back to us fit next summer.

Doesn't help us in the long term though, better for us he scores 30+ goals. He'll be worth a fortune then.

Not a loyal player! Should of sold him! We supported him and when we get relegated he runs! Get rid!

I still think Newcastle have got a brilliant player for this season tbh
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Are you mental? We shipped him out because his wages were higher than we wanted to pay in the Championship.

If he was a loyal player he would of took of a okay cut mate, but I stead jumped shipped! Dont want him back! And hopefully the club sells him! Don't want players with that attitude at QPR
