I was there too mate, and think the tear up at half time (K the S) somehow inspired us to victory. When Holloway came out and gave the speech telling us "if you want to stop getting tw@tted with truncheons then just turn it in" was pure comedy gold.

Was on a stag do out there 4 years ago and can hardly remember any of it apart from police turning up outside our villa threatening to smash through our gates if we didn't turn music down.

We got a 15,000 euro fine reduced to 1,500 if we turned up at station next day and paid.!! One of my mates gave them the name of M Mouse so had to use that name again when paying the fine !!

Spot on Lones - it sometimes was over before the black lady sang, but if not then a few bars of Randy and it was game set n match...

NW - Sorry to hear about your pal, but no shame in owning 'Secret Combination' by Randy Crawford - thinking about it the title was quite apt!

Moved onto Bob Marley's Legend LP for some reason ........

To be honest I think we were putting to much effort into the background music ...... We were young & you were on for legs akimbo even if you put the theme tune from MASH on !

For us that would mean around 29k."

It's not the lack of hair that holds me back, it's the 14 chins and me Johny Vegas style belly !

True NW - If a lady was coming back to my place it was pretty much game over anyway, but a few bars from Randy always helped seal the deal in case of lingering doubts.

And there was always the emergency procedure, but only to be used if all else failed....Barry White.

                          Me too ....................

Was at Wembley arena at the height of his fame, worked for DHL at the time and a mate delivered there so there were always tickets on the go, we were 3 rows from the front got covered in his sweat

Worse bit of the whole night was we got phished on wine for some reason on the way there, just got in and was dying for the toilet when the opening bars to Never Too Much came over the tannoy , couldn't stop phishing and then while rushing round trying to find our seats my legs gave way ......... ended up lying on my back in the aisle looking up at Luther He didn't stop glaring at me not one of my finest moments
