  • neutral areas pt 2....older fans may

recall chelsea used to take over loftus road...there was punch ups etc

and some suggest a neutral area is good..

i was there in the fa cup game v west ham where they had 10,000 forged tickets, game delayed an hour...west ham everywhere, very firmed up too.. i was in SAR and nearby was cass and his lot...great fun,,,we won 3-1.

spurs used to bring 1000s too
forest got in paddocks one year, manure did ..leeds did

we MUST NEVER ACCEPT THIS...if we can't fill qpr with our fans, we have problems ...either prices need lowering or the product improves and we win games!!!!

i thought QBP believed we would need a bigger ground and more mbs to cater for the 1000s queueing up to watch qprfc??
now we need a neutral area???

Firstly, there is a big difference between a NEUTRAL area and away fans getting in a Home area looking for trouble.
Secondly, I was also at the West Ham game, I think you'll find it was more like 1000 forged tickets

they thought me one of them...some shook my hand and i left, sharpish...ok, there were loads of forged tickets , game delayed an hr...john lyall came out to plead with west ham fans..there were 1000s of em...sitting on the sidelines...the police tried to put em in a section of the loft, which caused qpr fans to protest, it never happened...

i can't see how anyone is neutral at footy....i have been games with millwall, arsenal and chelsea but always say i am qpr.

met cass in a boozer recetly, a very polite guy...we had a quick chat and i left him, thats the first i heard of "hooped dreams" he was involved with intros or something...helped get it printed.

I was right front of the 150-200 or so forest boys when they started singing and what an experience that was and also remember looking at faces I had not seen before sitting around me when we played the big boys, to work out where the first punch might come from if we scored.

I think Pete is well intentioned but people at W12 use him or WATRB as some kind of customer research gig to see what people think of their latest plans and ideas.

Modfather, my understanding of "neutral" in this context, ie an end/stand/section, is not that you have to deny which team you support. Exactly the opposite in fact, but where each teams fans are happy to mingle with the opponents PEACEFULLY. Or if you had a party of Home, Away and fans of other teams.

Older fans may also recall that the old School End terrace was "neutral" too...

How is that different to W12 at the moment when you buy a ticket, especially through ticketmaster and before the game outside. There are plenty of people who are in SAR and clearly its there first game, so they are neutral fans and does that make SAR a neutral stand ?

we already have 2 effectively neutral stands elersie road and SAR anyone can buy tickets for these areas. Certainly dont need a designated Neutral area.

They're designated home areas though aren't they?

Can't see any harm whatsoever in designating an unused area of the stadium as a specific neutral area. Nothing to lose and everything to gain IMO.

If they are designated home areas, why are there occasionally 20 od bods from Norway sitting near me. How did they get tickets for a designated home area when they are not on the data base.
