If he did fail to get a permit couldn't we just loan him to a club in Europe for a season then recall him?

Makes you laugh doesn't it. This bloke will be made a millionaire by us yet he runs the risk of being turned away while others can turn up to sign on the dole, become car cleaners or cabbies, or bomb us to bits.

          The whole system is madness.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Apparently he is on the verge of being called up by Colombia so that could sway it in our favour.

I think also as we are trying to get him on the Special Talent rule we could use the fact that both Napoli and Athletico Madrid are chasing him who have both just sold Cavani and Falcao (both South Americans) for huge fees.

I can't see him not getting work permit as believe that West Ham could not guarantee him so many games and we have already done this.

If all else fails then we can use the secret weapon..

We need him to replace Zamora, then hopefully they show pity.

I think I read somewhere over the past few days that it was Thursday. I'd link it but I can't remember for the life of me where I read it!

This wasn't the place I originally read it but it's repeated here (thanks to eusabio13 on Report) http://translate.google.com/translat....ShlcGK5M.dpuf

I don't know why we didn't just buy a striker that is already over here. There are were loads of decent players we could had bought why struggle buying a player that has problems with a work permit.

We don't like doing things the easy way. It's part of being an R's fan, something always hanging over our heads... like a noose!!
On a positive note, you can't say it is boring supporting QPR.
