he has been training with us for over a week as no club are interested in him.

he was in the foolham back line that only won 3 of their last 15 games.

tarrabt ripped him to peices when we played them.

released by fulham because he is ........................ you add the rest.

Am no apologist for Baird or anybody else for that matter, but in the interests of fairness it should be pointed out that he played in only 3 of those last fifteen games, 2 of them as substitute, and the results were a win a draw and a loss in those games.
Yes Taarabt did slaughter him in that game but on his form that day I doubt many could have lived with him.

Scott Parker - apparently left out of Spurs game at the weekend as he was speaking to two clubs.

          Guessing us and West Ham?

Would much rather we keep Barton and forget Parker. At least Barton has a range of passing and can take free kicks as well as do a defensive job... Parker gets stuck in and then passes 5 yards sideways or backwards only and often misplaces them.....

Fair enough but it also depends on whether Barton wants to be here. He made his feelings pretty clear in the past. Also think you're being a bit harsh on parker...regular/captain for spurs until he got injured, 18 caps for england in a team which is pretty stacked for CMs, player of the year for spurs 2 seasons ago, football writers player of the year the previous season.

Barton looks great on the right, so I'd keep him there and play Parker in the middle with one of Faurlin/ Granero/ Jenas/ Henry (if I had to) and Holiett on the left if we keep playing 442. Or O'Neil on the right with Parker and Barton in the middle..

Would have been a great signing 2 years ago...but then Spurs wouldnt have got rid of him then

I want Parker purely because he's streets ahead of Henry who is limited to say the least.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He is decent at what he does, but that is very limited. Also he's certainly not the player he was then and has suffered regular injuries in the last year or so, hence i think he would be a big gamble.

Wolves fans who I know from England trips honestly could not believe that anyone would sign Henry as he was past his best at least a couple of years ago but I would give him a good few games playing for us before he becomes the latest in a very long line of whipping boys

Yep not the player he was has had a few injuries right enough but still descent for this level ,I would certainly have him over Barton as you never know when he's going to flip or get sent of or want away ,Parker would make a great Team and club captain would control the dressingroom

So he was player of the season for Spurs in 2012 then not 2011? Spurs are letting him go then 1 season after becoming POTS? bit harsh.
