My problem is that CM has so far been static and undynamic. Henry pairing with Faurlin or Granero has been the weak link in our team. Perhaps try Faurlin and Granero or moving Joey in and playing O'Neil on the right??
I know what your getting at 77 but 42 shots in three games would suggest that the midfield are doing the job even if passes are unadventurous. Like you I love to see the ball being pinged inch perfect all over the pitch but to me the plan at this early stage of the season is to win it then give it to Barton or Hoillet and get the full backs supporting them.

In the middle Faurlin or Granero (whoever plays) will be the playmaker its Henrys role to nick the ball and give it easy to Faurlin, Hoillet etc so they can do what they are good at and as the stats show 42 shots suggest we are not doing a bad job. Static was what we saw last season midfielders unwilling to break forward, unwilling to challenge for a ball and even more worrying reluctant to have a shot. This season I recall all our midfielders having digs at goal Jenas, Henry, SWP, Hoillet, Barton and Faurlin

Were doing ok in the middle for me way better then what went on last season with alleged better players

Would also add that Scot Parker is more or less a Henry/Derry as well so I await if he signed many suggesting he is one dimensional. Hes not known for spraying the ball all over the park hes a spoiler and an irritant

Can't disagree when you put it like that, West. Especially when we're unbeaten and looking good overall. Am worried that we're not as competitive or creative in CM as we could be, mind. Hopefully Harry can sort that out with signings or, as Ric says, by selections and tactics. We've won two coming from behind, so the spirit's as strong as the performance.

I don't know why we bought Henry TBH, he doesn't add anything to the team at all from what I have seen.

Remember we have played weak opposition so far, you wait to when we play the big boys you'll see a difference.

good people of this forum after about 10 games I'm sure you'll all come round to my way of thinking this guy is, well as I've said as for those who thought he had a fair game.well the feeling of the majority on our coach on the way back was that he was poor?

For me the midfield is fine and QPR will be an improved team when more strikers (who can score) are signed.

If QPR were to sign Zapata and Defoe, they would win a lot more than lose in this league.

My message is give criticising Henry and stop looking for a scapegoat (especially iof the team is not struggling).

Would you rather have Henry doing all the basics of tackle and pass it on or M'Bia trying to do the basics of tackle and pass it on ?

I'd have ten men rather than play Mbia...

mbia gave away far too many free kicks, so I would prefer Henry doing the basics. If Mbia could improve his timong and tackling he is a better player in my opinion.
