Can't see any manager guaranteeing any player a minimum number of games

If you are a club the size of QPR spending 7m on a player, then yes
        Kept the faith!

we have secured the deal by guaranteeing that duvan starts 30 games this season and that gentlemen is the key to the confirmation of this deal

GAME SET AND MATCH TO QPR AS WE WIN THIS DIVISION AND TAKE THE FA CUP AS WELL
Sorry mate not saying this lad wont sign, but no club would guarantee a player a number of starts, just wouldn't happen, West Ham had concerns over a Visa being given to the young lad and the price going up thats all.

              no

no obviously if he is injured he wont get his work permit revoked but you have to be sure of a players brilliance to guarantee him thirty starts,he is currently about twice as good as les ferdinand was at his age but dont forget ferdinand aged 23 just suddenlt became the greatest ever striker to play for qpr

Any manager wants to pick the best players available and having one place guaranteed to a player breaks that.

Better to have a group of players treated equally and picked on merit. If you do well you play. If not you don't. That also builds team spirit that was so lacking last year.

Better to move on to the next target than to guarantee 30 games to a player that might not even deliver.

Mate he may be a worldie in the making, but he will not be guaranteed 30 sarts at qpr, they just wouldnt do that, imagine if they did how AJ or Austin would feel? aint happing mate.

The upside is, if he's sh!te we can drop him, then he will get deported and we'll be shot of him!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Not agreeing or disagreeing but 30 starts is not even two thirds of our fixtures especially when you factor in cup games (albeit we never seem to have more than 2 or 3 of them a season). If, for arguments sake, we have 3 strikers, and are playing 2 up top, you'd quite easily be able to give each of them 30 starts.

I assume what you are really saying is that in the Club's opinion he will be playing for the first team, whereas West Ham said he was probably going to be used as back-up. Not sure how this really concerns the home office. If you apply for a work permit for somebody, you wouldn't guarantee that he would be working for you permanently for x number of years. Nobody would ever do that.

I have read several reports regarding West Ham's bid and it appears that they decided not to go to a hearing regarding the work permit.
