Interesting discussion on Fulham board about Adel. Apparently they are suggesting the reason he was loaned is because we refused to sell given the Spurs sell on clause which expires end of this season so if they buy then Spurs get nothing

Would be lovely to stich Spurs up I hate them big time

Time to move on and support QPR

What short memories some people have.
Yes the same Barton who had many more descent games than Adel did in our first season back in the Prem, yes the same Barton who shows some passion and plays for the team unlike Adel who plays for himself, and as I stated originally the same Barton who put in more effort Saturday than Adel put in the last 10 games of last season

Pure genius!......adel says a few good things about QPR purely to try and make his life easier.....and is vilified as a ****....

Barton says a few good things about QPR to try and make his life easier.....and is some sort of conquering hero....

Nonsense. Just because Adel didn't boss games like he did the year before, doesn't mean he was poor. He was our most effective player many times over the two years in the Prem. Not saying he was very good, just that he was our most effective player a lot of the time.

There are reasons for wanting Adel gone off the pitch in terms of attitude. His contribution on the pitch seems to be being diminished by the day, as more and more people seem to be buying this idea that he was worse than others in the team.

Proved? That's a good one. The stats posted by chrissobson would suggest that despite playing in a team that struggled for two seasons with no cohesion, he still managed to create more chances per minute than most players in the Premier League, not to mention more successful dribbles. The fact that a lot ended up with wayward shooting speaks volumes about the lack of movement we have had up front. But facts don't matter to you, so keep saying he can't hack it - although I hate Fulham, I still want him to do well (wouldn't it be nice to tease the Cottagers that it's one of our players that's making them do well), after all, he's been the only thing at the club that has created some excitement in the past 3 years.

And Adel said he wants to stay in London. Same thing.

                    Spot on.

Plus, I guess Dave doesn't go to games, if he did he would remember when Barton was cheered for being taken off, that's how rubbish he was playing.

Agree, also every time I saw him interviewed, he appeared to genuinely love our club. He witnessed a lot of changes during his time, many of which a large proportion of posters would agree were detrimental to the club. Poor players coming in on high wages and long contracts is one such example.

As much as he went off the boil, the club equally must take responsibility of not motivating and supporting a genuine talent, a like of which this club hasn't seen for over 15 years.

For me, I wish him well.

Lets see what happens this season . Give it 5 or 6 games he will be benched, 10 -15 games he will be stropping

Hard to argue with such ironclad complete speculation like that.

I do remember Barton being cheered off against Liverpool and probably attend more games than you, as those that know me know I do all games home and away, but of the 76 games played in the prem Adel probably only had 6-10 good games if that? where he made a difference?
Think Barton had more descent games than Adel over 1 season than Adel did 2

I'd say that your recollection is somewhat flawed.
