Midfield Battle

So, we are linked with more Midfielders and a lot of the talk is why so many? I agree we need more strikers, at least one more. Of which I think we will get.

However, if you look at the Midfield options we have if the potential leave. Then we actually dont have a wide variety IMO especially out wide...

Derry could actually be leaving if the news is that we are looking to bring in Parker. Mbia, Granero and Diakite are all but gone IMO.

Only 4 midfielders can play at once, leaving us with 3 Subs. Personally I can see why we are adding two more, especially if we lose another 4.

Well I think the management are wanting to replace those three in addiiton to the ones that went already so it makes sense to buy midfielders.

Midfield needs to be strong - last year it was weak - changing some of em and adding depth too helps the team.

45 league games to go - makes sense to buy midfielders when we are offloading so many. We can't afford to be light in midfield from injuries/suspensions as this is where most games are won.
