Losing Remy for the season was a big blow tbh. I don't think Defoe is as good but I expect he would do fine enough if he arrived.

That would leave Faurlin alot to do.I would put Barton in the Middle and the new lad from liverpool (if he comes) on the right. use Aj as an impact super sub.

The problem is JD will not want to drop down a division, we'll have to offer him much more to even tempt him, which then means we are again paying well over the odds.
If we don't get promoted, we're going to be in trouble. The chances with him in the team, we should go up but we are QPR... nothings straightforward with us.

Whereas, by being a part of a 50 goal strike force would get you noticed.

In a world cup year I just can't see it happening personally. I know he's a pretty long shot for getting in but if Lambert can then surely he'll fancy his chances if he has a good season.
Much like Townsend and Parker, if he gets a Prem team after him then he'll go to them.
However, if it gets to deadline day and he's still at Spurs with no other options, could easily see him joining us.

Originally posted by Hove Ranger View PostIt all hinges on Bale. If Spurs get the reported £85m, I reckon they will bring in 3/4 quality players. Leaving players like Defoe, Parker and maybe Townsend not getting a look in. Hopefully Harry can work his magic in convincing these players we are their best option!!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
