Not keen on him and 2 wins over a sheff wed team who will be battling relegation and a league 2 dog and duck side won't change my mind. From what I have heard I am impressed by McClaren though and believe he will be a massive part of us doing well if we do.

I too am also not a Harry fan but we have no choice but to back him.

I agree with Chris, I think many people are getting too exited.
If you were at the game you would of notice that sheff wed were very limited and yet we did make hard work of it.
Holliet and Barton were the difference but I am very concerned about the lack of creativity in our central midfield.

Huddlersfield will be the 1st real test imo as they have a few decent players.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I'm a Harry fan. Basically I'm happy with the start, the more obvious unity of the team and the comings and goings so far.

For me, it is a massive task to turn around the mess we have gotten into and Harry is making decent progress on that score.

Big improvement on last year but Wednesday are tipped for relegation and over the whole game it was pretty even really. Wouldn't know that one of the clubs had players who needed to take a pay cut to go to Arsenal or PSV etc. So there is still a long way to go for sure and Harry needs to sign more and better players to get a promotion team together imo.
Wouldn't worry about creativity in CM though. One way especially in the championship where CM is often a battleground, to play have a solid CM which can allow two strikers two flair playmaking wide midfielders and two overlapping FBs to attack. Plenty of room for creativity and attack from those six players if Harry can get them in of course on a tiny fraction of the budget Hughes had.

I agree we need a creative CM. Its alright signing all these grafters like O'neil, Henry etc but i would like to see a CM that pushes forward and gets goals. I wont judge Harry until the transfer window has shut and hes put his team together. Hes promised us some real good players coming in so lets see what happens. Matty Phillips btw would be a quality signing (if its true weve actually bid for him)
