According to that we were paying him approx. 80k per week, and considering what PSV are paying him we might still be on the hook for 50k.

Still, pleased the useless pr1ck is gone.

Actually, Park agreed to a huge pay cut to accomodate PSV's salary cap, and also to make it financially feasible for QPR. PSV will be paying Park about 1.5M Euro (their salary cap) for the season, and QPR only about 500K Euro.

According to that article, the pay cut Park agreed to was from W7 to W2.5 (65% cut).

I can appreciate why you guys are glad that he is gone, but I think it's clear Park is not trying to cash out on QPR or PSV.

I have no issues with Park as an individual, I just think he's finished as a top flight player because of injuries and I'm very happy that he's gone!

I guess we will find out in a few months' time. I hope he has a better season at PSV.

No problem with Park, unfortunately just didn't fit in with us, just glad to see him go which frees up more money to get extra players in. With Remy,Adel & Park going I think we will see 2 players come in over the next few days.

Well it looks like its done then, I'm really glad he's gone and it does help to reduce our costs overall.

So we now have Adel, Cesar, Diakite and M'bia to move on with 2 of them nearly gone.

It will be interesting to see the 3/4 players HR mentioned he was hoping to bring in.

It's all well and good getting rid of all these players so long as we bring in quality replacements.

Players like taraabt are quality (divided opinion I know), replacing him with the likes of Gary O'Neil - is that a step forward. Money saving yes.. an improvement - now thats debatable...

                        I guess time will tell

Agree but there's no point having quality players who don't want to play or put a shift in. This yet again goes back to the Mackie debate, would you rather a quality player who don't put a shift in and causes hassle around the club or a less gifted player who gives his all ?

Good news etc etc but I so want this done. MBia & Cesar too
                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
