I have BT Broadband – then all of a sudden BT buy the rights to Premier League football and I now have Live footy for free (not £30 odd quid a month)

Never liked Sky – went to a mates house recently and he had a Sky subscription but with only the basic channels.

Me: "You do realise that 90% of those channels are on freeview right?"
Him: "Yeah but I can Sky+ programmes with Sky"
Me: "Yeah you can record on Freeview too, for free"
Him "Yeah but I can pause live TV"
Me: "As per freeview, for free"
Him "It's just easier this way"
Me: "What, easier to pay a monthly subscription than plugging that co-ax cable into your TV"

Muppet!

Sky are like Apple they get people sooo entrenched into their eco-systems that they aint ever coming out! Even if it means paying through the nose!

Anyway – BT needs to be a success to rein Sky in – hope they get some Championship games soon

Think this is all just face saving for Joey, if Marseille wanted him they would of got the deal done a lot quicker I mean he was on loan there last season and he has been publically spouting off that this is where he would like to go... but even the ****** newspapers ain't reporting that a deal is in the pipeline.

Just a feeling I have and I could be wrong but I think Barton will still be here come the end of the window.

He'd been dropped by both his club and his country and no one would give him a look in. We came along and were prepared to upset an ex-England keeper to accommodate him and, as a DIRECT RESULT, he is now probably going to be leading his country out as CAPTAIN at his HOME world cup. We haven't ruined his life. We've made his dreams come true and paid him a bucket load for the pleasure!
