Who is? Also it´s soon WC and he has a chance of getting there.
OK maybe not a mercenary, but never an R. ThAts the thing with these multi million pound foreign players. They'd play for anyone anywhere.

If he has a good year then we will not see him in a hoops shirt again.

I do see your point, but what's to say Remy's doing it for the good of the club(as in his wages)
Also he's a top striker who's not quite in the French team, he needs this move. I don't blame him

And Fernandes said we're loaning players because we want them back. I believe Fernandes over rumours

CONFIRMED: Loic Remy, who expressed his desire to leave the club in a World Cup year, has joined @NUFCOfficial on a season long loan #QPR"

that seems to imply that remy's not really doing it for selfless reasons.

The game is all about opinions but Remy always gave 100% effort, that you can never fault him for. I personally don't agree with your opinion

Just seen you've took that comment back now, don't think I was kicking the boot in please
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

so he is doing it for the good of france.................. teah right.

of course he is doing it for himself. no loyalty to us but probably expects tony f to subsidise some of his wages.

Did we get a two million fee then?

I would love to know the fees involed for this deal.

How much loan fee did we get?
What percentage are newcastle paying for his wages?

No worries. My choice of word was foolish. I do wonder, however, what motivates players. Samba for instance. Us buying him is like hiring someone to do something. They'll do the thing brilliantly (but Samba didn't.....), but they don't care who they do it for. Saw Adel in the tunnel on Sat. And Esteban. Didn't see Remy.

Someone mentioned Newcastle having a 7 million option on signing him?

How about he scores 30 goals in the premier league, surely we wouldn't sell him for 7 million ? He'd be worth 25+

                            That can't be right.

I'd like to wish Remy all the best and hope he comes back home to us in the EPL, when we come back up.

Can you imagine- for even a nano second- that happening to Clint Hill, Nedum Onouha or Rob Green??????

if they were on the fringes of a World Cup squad, were as highly rated as Remy, and playing in the Championship would scupper their international chances?

                                Yes, probably

Edit: Unless you meant the rape thing, then who the hell knows? Until we know the details, best not to make assumptions.
