When Barton was subbed he had a word with Ale as he went past him. He said something and clenched his fist as though to tell him to work hard and grind out the result. Ale had a good game but the last 15-20 mins were his best. I think Joey inspired him!

Well spotted, I saw it too but didnt think anything of it at the time
Great footballer JoeyUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

when Barton knuckles down to play for a team, he is a good player.
If he could be persuaded to stay and work hard on and off the pitch, he could play a major part in QPR's season.
There is no doubt he was missed last season. He alongside Faurlin and Granero might have worked a treat, but Hughes was adamant that Barton was finished at QPR and the board went along with it.

Barton's attitude was brilliant yesterday. He was dishing out instructions to everyone and was encouraging the players when they gave the ball away. What pleased me was to see his reaction to Andy Johnson's goal - he genuinely looked pleased. Considering that his relationship with the board isn't the greatest, fair play to him for putting in a shift yesterday.

Perfect league for Barton and Faurlin, Barton played really well for 50 minutes but felt in the end his fitness started to show.
Faurlin lack of pace is a problem for the premiership, and the Championship is all about determination and fighting for your team ! So Barton and Faurlin will do well.
