Didn't expect nor do I deserve that reception from the QPR fans today. Many thanks..

Really enjoyed the game this afternoon. The team is together. Stadium was full and in good voice. Life is good today.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He had a great game today, when he came over to take a corner in the 1st half he had his head down (probably expecting abuse) but he genuinely looked shocked to see all of us standing up, applauding and singing his name.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

      "Life is good today"

That is what football is all about. So good to hear
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I got up and got my part of East Paddock applauding him and he looked shocked when the lower loft were doing the same. He put in a shift and is a good player. I want him to enjoy his football with us and stay.

          And TF's response:

@tonyfernandes: @Joey7Barton. Special mention for showing real commitment. Easier tweet wrong account

@tonyfernandes: A special mention to @JOEYBARTON who showed real real commitment.

Perhaps, but as the fans seem to have made their peace with him, he might want to start repaying that faith by putting in regular performances like today.

When he puts in a shift like that, he well deserves it.
