When he puts in a shift like that, he well deserves it.

He has his attitude problems, but to be fair to him, he nearly always gives 100% effort and after the lack of 100% performances from many players last season, QPR can certainly do with Barton staying.

He gave Newcastle 100% when they went down and played a major part in them going straight back as Champions with his performances especially when they had to grind out nitty gritty 1-0 wins. This is what QPR will need plenty of this season, even more so given the lack of flair in the squad when Taarabt, Remy and Granero leave.

Took for the team.....Eh, not necessary. He wasn`t in a dangerous position. Stuck a leg out...happens every week....maybe - but stupid. Must be more careful when you are defending in the box.

First of all Joey played very well on Saturday and Austin will thrive from his delivery, not to mention Hoilett.

Yet again though it proves people can't wait for him to make a mistake to get on his back. I thought we needed to put all this to bed and get behind the team 100%? It's as if some people on here would have been delighted if he got sent off!

Has anyone watched Tunnel Cam? Joey waits and shakes everyone one's hand on the way in. He wants to go to Marseille but there is no doubt if he does stay he'll give everything. People saying he only put that performance in because he wants out, yeah who cares? He's playing well for QPR.

He gets slammed by everyone, he's made mistakes granted but it's no coincidence the players at our club that get on well with Joey are people who get their heads down and work (Hill, Derry, Faurlin, Mackie etc). Having Joey in our squad for this season will be a massive boost.

Tunnel cam is something that all players know about, so Mr Barton. Shaking everyones hand in the tunnel, and not in the dressing room, why so? Any suggestions? He will give everything? Time will tell.

like i said in another thread mate-if it comes to us not getting our value(f cuk paying half wages etc or him getting a pay off) then stick him in the team if he can benifit us. he will be very good in this division. playing nice to get HIS awards from the club. just my opinion.
