He has no desire to stay, thinks we're a tin pot club, and only worked hard today as he's in the shop window.

His 2 fouls down near x block were appalling and according to Bond's press conference , Barton did give away a penalty just the ref was sh ite
Do you have anything positive to say? On another thread you critisied 5 or 6 players including Simpson and AJ.

I do have to say I was alot more excited for the game when I saw he was named in the eleven yesterday
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Not really Hitman. I've always defended him and hoped he'd stay and play for us this year. Have also repeatedly slammed people who go on about him having such a bad disciplinary record etc, when for us he'd only had 1 legitimate red card as the one against Norwich was a farce. Have also said he was always refrained and walked away when opponents tried to provoke him. The city incident was different simply imo, because of the realisation of the enormity of the incident and what it could mean having felt he'd been cheated by Tevez and he reacted badly to that, but that was the only time in a whole season.

Also when many said he was sh1te and was boo'd etc, have always pointed out he had a bad spell like everyone, but was good before and good after in our run in. He's a good player and was ever present for the 2nd best team in France last year ffs, and some think he's not good enough for us... Then there were many who said if he played he wouldn't give a damn, but again have always said no matter what the situation, once he crosses the white line he'll give his all to do a job and win his personal battle on the pitch.

I'm really glad he proved many wrong yesterday with a motm performance and really hope he'll stay.

Based on his performance yesterday, I really wish we keep him at the club and hope Marseille don't come back with an improved offer.

I think he is an idiot (not the 1st we have had at the club) but if he gives his all he is ok by me! I understand that he is in the shop window and everyone is skeptical but as soon as that shuts we should ALL get behind him as I think he thrives on the support!

Spot on. He needs an arm round him thats all. Probably wasn't told enough as a kid that he's loved. He thinks with his fingers which get him in trouble or causes debate, but we can all do it at times. When he puts a footy shirt on and enters the stage you can't really have a pop at him because he wears his heart on his sleeve.

Bloke's a helmet, but so long as he puts in performances like he did yesterday, being a helmet is fine by me. Superb game & delivered some blinding balls - can see Austin putting a few headers away this season if Barton stays.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I donīt know him personally, so how can I judge him ? Remember, we are all sinners.:=):
I hope he will stay. His workrate is second to none.

I don't care about his personality or what he says in twitter as long as he performs well for QPR on the pitch.

totally agree with Matty, the bloke is a bit of a pr!ck but if he plays like that each week...who cares! we dont have to be his friend, or to like each other. as long as he does the business on the pitch is all that matters

I didn't claim any ITK but have said all along he is the best CM on the payroll. Mind you a ladies pub team would provide a better CM than last year so it wasn't saying much

I was really shocked when I saw him in the team sheet, totally unexpected! But he did play really well and thats the main thing.

exactly this Shania. no one knows him personally. people who do say he is a lovely fella and they don't recognise the man who tweets.
(that's if hitman doesn't mind me defending JB, being the only person in the universe to rate him)
