  • Proper Team Performance That....

Welcome back QPR that's more what were used to.

Players running their hearts out and giving loads of effort.

Every man played well, Bobby went off the boil second half.

Johnson given his effort today would have been an influential player last season had he stayed fit.

Thought we kept the ball well when needed today.

Special mentions of Hoilett (could have had a hat trick), Nedum and Faurlin three man of the matches I cannot split them.

    Onwards and upwards COYRs

maybe johnson will be a bigger player for us this season that many of us assumed (if he stays fit).

If Johnson keeps looking like this the pairing with Austin could be leathal.. Austin looked pure class!

Thin in CM. Very thin. They out hustled us. Faurlin and Henry not a pairing I'd like to see again.

Cant agree mate I thought we were solid in the middle and dictated it. Also Tierry and Faurlin hassled, broke up play and won the ball back on many occasions. Every side has a spell in a game and I would not confuse the 10/15min spell Wednesday had with assuming those two did not play well as a partnership.

Only thing I would change is that Faurlin comes short for the ball instead of Henry as hes better on the ball

Agree. Faurlin and O'Neil would probably be better. Hopefully Henry just needs a couple of games to settle in.

True, we must sign a couple more for rotation

Can't agree, West. We weren't dominant enough there. Neither of them bossed it. Still a win is a win is a win firm foundations to build on. Very, very lively going forward. Simpson v solid. Ned too.

I thought Faurlin's passing in the first half was terrible, but he came out a different player and that 1 minute period where he just kept winning the ball back with crunching challenges was great to watch. He needs to work on his ground passes because they were pretty inconsistent but as usual, his long passes were a joy to behold.

I'm probably nuts but Faurlin finally won the ball in that second half spell having failed twice to do so. R block went nuts when he won it- after Henry failed to do- but his Desperate Dan measures wouldn't have been necessary if he'd muscled the Weds player out if the game at the edge of their box. We need a ball winner and a ball player in CM. At present we have neither one thing or the other.

Good performance, although will still have the same problem as last year, and that is a dodgy back four, even the commentator said we looked very vulnerable at times. Hopefully though we can work on that.

Overall today I gave us 7.5/10, good work rates but just lack that little bit of quality ie Tarrabt

                        Dunne for Hill

                        Yun for Traore

                        IMO.

Hill looked over himself at times today.

Hill can jump and make a header and a clearance but doesn't care where it goes, which is a big issue for me
