We need someone like Barton to roll up his sleeves and sweat some blood missed that last season

REDKNAPP: I was pleased with the lads. I thought Joey was excellent. He used the ball well on the right. He knows the game so well

Both him and Faulin complimented each other as midfield partnership hard to pick the better

But for how long? Could easily have been sent off today for the pen incident.

One swallow does not a summer make.

A time bomb waiting to happen.

Apart from that stupendous cross-field pass I didn't think he was any better than when he played the season before last.

Joey had a good game today. I was in the paddocks and I thought he worked hard. Put some good crosses in, showed for the ball, and did his share of getting stuck in.

This is the Joey Barton we want to see.

He took the yellow card when it benefitted the team aswell. That´s what real proffesional team-players do.

Yes I watched the same game as you ..nothing wrong with Barton and indeed he had a good game. But my point is history shows its only a matter of time before the switch inside his head trips. I find the disrespect he has shown this club something that 45 mins and one 60 yard pass doesn't begin to erase

                                Joey Barton tweet:

@Joey7Barton: Didn't expect nor do I deserve that reception from the QPR fans today. Many thanks... #humbled
