Sorry if already mentioned - rumours circulating on Twitter that we've signed Baird from Fulham. Another player over 30 years of age - it does seem that Harry is opting for a squad with experience, which may prove to be a good thing, but I have to say this isn't a signing that would 'blow my mind'. Could be rubbish, obviously, but what are people's thoughts?

Harry was right, mind blowing players. SighUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

HR reveals why he wants Baird
The manager joked: “Chris keeps passing to his own team, which is a new game we’re trying to play this year.
He can play left-back, right-back, centre-half midfield; he’s a bright type. He only came in Thursday but I’ve always liked him.
The players I’ve signed so far all speak the same language. You say ‘good morning’ and they say ‘good morning’ back. I want lads who want to be here and with that attitude.”

I can see what type of squad HR is building and it is growing on me.... although we will soon see after the first 5 games.
Chris Baird? Well I think he would be a useful addition for what we want, and he would make a great utility player. I wonder how much they want for him?
