I agree West. I knew posting this thread would be controversial but thought it would be interesting to gauge how strong the reaction would be.

I was no fan of his either but the fact is he was far from being the worst technical player at the club. I too never liked his attitude but if Harry had never gone public about him refusing to sit on the bench there is no way there'd be anywhere near as much hatred for him since that time.

At least give him some credit for being classy after leaving, and not a d1ck head like Paddy Kenny.

Not criticising you mate for starting the thread just some of the responses. Agree I don't think we was the worst player in the squad but think his Chelsea connections meant he got less rope then others

Good shout Paddy Kenny; worshipped by fans and then turned on the club and said some appalling things about us but Bosingwa openly hated by fans actually shows an element of class when it would have been way easier to do a Kenny

Would be very surprised if he said any of it, it's probably just a pr spin put together by his agents team. My opinion anyway

easy to sprout words tho ain't it-blah,blah,blah. imo he showed no class last season and thats something that grates with me.by no stretch of the imagination was he the worst player last season but for a player to win so much and have a good reputation as he did and show such little b o ll ix when WE needed it makes him a top notch p rick.

He was our best crosser and set piece taker. He stayed quite all this time for the sake of the club. He was forgiven by HR for his mistake but he was never forgiven by some fans. Perhaps we would have stayed up if he was.

He was ball shy which I found strange considering the clubs he previously played for. Awful player and the poster boy (and deservedly so) for everything that was wrong with our transfer policy over the last 2 seasons.
As to not having a pop at us, I would say that's because he was so awful it would be futile to knock us. Also he's probably a nice bloke, won major big trophys, not a bitter man and done well for himself on limited ability....but for us was shockingly bad.

Would rather he`d have tried a bit harder when he was here , then give a nice press statment after hes gone , he was lazy on the pitch and actions speak louder then words

                        Agree.

Also, he was far from our worst player last season. I would have him in my side ahead of Zamora every time.

He's gone now so let's move on.
