Well that's ok then if your happy for him to sign you better inform TF and Beard of that. Have you vetted any of our other potential signs and said your happy for them to proceed???

Any chance it could all be on hold until a couple of payers leave? I'm not being funny but even with Park gone, we've got a hell of a lot of central midfielders!

I was thinking the same thing, maybe we are waiting for a few to leave before we can sign him. Still we have 3 pending to leave.
.... we're still full to the brim with ageing journeymen and overpaid, under achieving disinterested strikers - I hated the signing of both Johnson and Zamora and said so at the time, so this isn't hindsight. The club isn't serious about the long term, its looking for a quick fix. What we should be doing is looking at younger players or bringing them through, but Harry has been short term for years now. The weird thing about that is he was one of Ron Greenwood's back in the day, and that was someone who was messianic about bringing youngsters on. The one midfield player who has a history of doing real damage to the opposition at Championship level is on his way / has already gone. Because Harry never really learned how to manage him... Adel out, O'Neil in. Yeah right.
^^yep there seems to be no kind of long term plan. typical arry
maybe we'll go up this year and can invest heavily next year but it seems sensible to try and establish a team this year, one that can develop together in the championship before taking the step up if/when we get promoted
at the moment we've got 9 CMs on our books, the majority of which are around 30
