Based on the clip, proper poacher - plays close to the last defender and looks for a chance to pounce. Seems worth a gamble but I didn't see anything to make me think he is Premiership class. I like the fact he is young, that is a key for me, as he could improve. Will be as loyal to us as anybody else, and as loyal as the club will be to him!

Why do people keep going on about Rhodes ffs. He cost £8m last year so they would want about £10m now.... which would be a ridiculous waste of money.

This guy could offer something different an far less of a gamble.

True story: After taking over from Kenny Dalgleish as Blackburn manager Ray Harford (remember him!) agreed a deal with Bordeaux for a young French central midfielder who had a handful of international appearances. Owner Jack Walker was having none of it, 'Why would I spend three million pound on some ****** Frenchman when we've already got Gary Flitcroft?'. The deal collapsed and not much later the midfielder was sold to Juventus for a considerably higher sum. His name was Zinedine Zidane.

We need another forward and he looks a handful. He's scored all different goals. I'll think he'd be good

However, QPR hope to appeal on grounds of 'special talent' for the Colombia Under 20 international.

Haha. I totally see where you're coming from but my view is we can go up so I'd rather having another British/plays in England already so I can trust him. This guy maybe the dogs ******** so I could be saying some stupid stuff right now
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

Didn't we go through this whole work permit business a couple of seasons ago with some young Brazilian player? Went on for a couple of weeks IIRC, we all had him named in our team etc and then he was refused his permit. High risk of that happening again perhaps...

If the permit is granted, then West Ham might go back in for him?
