Press Conference Notes

1. Media team asked for Harry to not be filmed on his crutches as he walked in... (Although he had a joke about it, Looks in reasonable health)
2. Gary O'Neil walked into the media room, done deal I expect.
3. He loves a brew in a paper cup
4. Tough League, 7-8 teams who will be really good along with surprise packets like Hull and Palace last year.
5. We will be right there though...
6. Austin
- Liked him for a long time, followed him for a while
- Fantastic finisher
- Knows all his stats
- Great potential
- Its not impossible for him to not Play for England, big talk!!
- A little gamble with his Knee but never had an issue with it since 14. But medically its not the best and thats why he failed it at Hull.
- PB and TF do the deals so he doesnt know what the fee was. Less than the Hull Fee...
7. Harry wont be fit for Saturday, on crutches till weds.

8. Player Updates:
- Barton training etc Doing well.. He's here and if hes good enough to play he will..
- Cesar, top keeper. Wants to play higher than the championship but someones needs to come in and buy him
- Adel - again great player. Someone wants to loan him etc they need to pay up the cash. Apparently he was injured... But trained yesterday.. in fact twice. Top player etc, but if he stays he will help us get QPR back up.
- Loic Remy - People need to pay 2million for him on loan, and he will score 15-20 goals in the prem. But people need to pay this up. (In a nutshell who knows? If people pay up he may well go on a loan)

9. Harry said he is around 2-3 weeks away from a good team, but he said we will HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM. Make no mistake about it, it will excite people!!
10. Good team so far, but as said, in 2-3 weeks time it will be even better.
11. We lacked quality and we was just a bit short - And thats the ultimate reason we went down. Not good enough.
12. Proper excited about Austin
13. SM - All Harrys choice, and thought he would be great to have around the place.
14. PB Did well to get the players out that he is (reference to Bosginwa etc)
15. The pitch looks great.
16. HR is trying to bring players in that will BLOW PEOPLES MINDS. and THE BOARD are SUPPORTING him in this task. If people wanna join in then they are welcome to. e.g Adel maybe?
- Harry really sounds excited etc. But it may take around 2-3 weeks by all accounts
- It has been said before guys that most deals happen at the end of the season
17. Bale wants to go.
18. Barton WONT be captain. He's trained hard, been as good as gold. Still wants to go to France.. but while he is here, if hes good enough to stay he will play.

From what I saw of it Harry said:

-Thinks we are in for a very good year and will be right up there

-Very competitive league

-If anyone wants Cesar, Remy etc then they will have to pay the going rate. Remy 2m loan fee for example

-Barton not been any trouble and has trained hard

-Very happy with Charlie Austin signing. When asked about the failed medical he gave examples of players he has managed that would have failed medicals but suffered from no serious injuries.

Sky then cut away to talk about a new palace signing

It doesn't surprise me with Joey, as a footballer I rate him highly & he will give 110%. He doesn't want to be here let's be honest but when he steps onto the pitch he's a different person
