Richard Langley was awful for a while after he did his cruciate and we barely saw Clarke Carlisle for 2 seasons because of his, then when he came back he was well off the pace. We still stood by them and both went on to become key players for us in the promotion season.

Just shows the mentality we have at the moment. If a player isn't 10/10 every week ditch him and go and throw money after someone else, who in turn will be hounded out in around 18 months times.
A bit unfair considering the last 2 disastrous seasons! barely a consistently good performance by any of our players bar hill.

      Fantastic.

AS for pecking order, I think HR will be surprised how good he is now he's seen him throughout pre season. Last year he was only here 5 mins before loaning Ale out so hardly saw him at all. No way should he be behind Derry or Henry either.

He's one of our best players so this is good news
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Another player who's given the devine right by fans based on what he did 2-3 yrs ago.
My judgement will be made when i see him play in a competitive game.
Faurlin was ok in spells during many games but not consistent, yet was he really fit enough to have played so soon after an acl injury? I dont think he was, yet Hughes did not ease him back, but instead through hin in at the deep end, when most of the new players were still trying to gel.

Absolutely made my day. Been so down about the possibility losing Faurlin so this has really cheered me up no end!

No such requirement in this league I don't think.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
