Prefer Austin to Hooper. Nothing decent's come out of the SPL for years and years. Mickey Mouse league.

Austin is the safer bet as he has done it in the English league. Hooper would have been a gamble for us whereas the canaries could afford the gamble cos hes gonna be their 3rd choice striker.

Hooper or Austin, Tell the truth now

If you had a choice, who would it have been?

I was quite gutted when we lost out on Hooper but looking back maybe it was for the best that we did lose out on him.
Both Hooper and Austin had a good Goalscoring record in the Championship, but Hooper scored plenty for Celtic.
I have never rated the SPL as even when Rangers were in it, it was only really a 2 club league and I think Celtic wouldn't be all that if had to play every week in the Championship.

Both know where the back of the net is for sure, but I think Austin is more useful in the air than Hooper.

haven't seen enough of either of them to compare to be honest. Would have been very happy with either from what I have seen though and their record......oh and also comparing to our current crop! Sitting on the fence i know. Probably go for Austin as he's younger

As I keep saying,Scottish football is cr*p and I think he will flop at six fingered city, but saying that champ level probably would of suited him,I'm happy with Austin and predict he will score 32 goals this season

Hooper would have been a great signing but hasn't played in these leagues for a few years.

Either Austin or Rhodes were my first choices though so I'm over the moon how its all turned out.

Unfortunately I don't think Remy is going to be gracing the LR Turf

Just about anyone can pass our medicals it seems. We've got a squad full of them. But...assuming both are fit, I would have preferred Hooper. Austin if fit, is still a valuable addition.

Said the same during the Hooper love in when it looked like we would sign him. Overrated one trick pony whoose best return in the Championship is 18 goals. If Austin stays fit he will and has regularly scored more at this level, also better all round player. Hooper will fail at Prem level even in a good side so will certainly struggle at Norwich.

Would've opted for Hooper had there been a choice but thats not to say I'm not delighted we've signed Austin.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
