Well I'm gobsmacked. We were told we wouldn't be loaning players.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Remy set to join Newcastle on loan

Newcastle have agreed a season-long loan deal with Championship side Queens Park Rangers for striker Loic Remy.

The 26-year-old is set to have a medical at St James' Park on Monday.

Newcastle sign France international striker Loic Remy on a season-long loan deal from Championship side QPR.

I hope there is no buying option in there!

We'll need him for next year when we go back up.

Really don't know why we don't keep him, unless its in his contract he could be loaned out or sold.

We could be up by Xmas with him in the team.

I think it might be in his contract that he would not have to stay if QPR got relegated, just as long as QPR did not lose out financially.

For all we know, Fernandes might have given him his word whilst playing games during talks to join QPR. Which is why although Redknapp doesnt want to loan him out, Fernandes is saying yes.

As long as Newcastle are paying a fee (£2M seems fair) and his wages in full it could work in QPR's favour - but I do think he needs to be replaced with a pacy forward who can score goals.

That's fair enough, if Tony has given him his word, it's only right he honors it.

Not fussed to be honest. Scores goals, sure, but didn't look like a team player last year. Did he ever complete a pass?? Much happier to hear Joey's staying rather than be bothered that Remy's leaving.

In a way I agree, Remy no doubt would score us goals but we have Austin now and if he can stay injury free then AJ will score as well.
Still think we need another striker though
