Hoping its not like the last two years: Wake up excited; travel to game excited; sit in stadium as excitement turns to horror; travel home utterly and totally depressed.....

Fly from the Dordogne SW France to Stansted tomorrow afternoon, leg in around the M25 and have a curry and stay with friends in Sutton.

Saturday lunchtime Pie & Mash at Cooke's, plus several pints.

Out for a Chinese saturday night, back to the Dordogne on Sunday lunchtime in time for tea and the cricket on the telly, lovely.

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Fair play to all you lads flying and driving in from god knows where. As for me, my toughest decision is which bus to take. The 207 or wait for the 607 "express"!

Haircut first thing, home to change and then a stroll down to Hertford North station. Off at Kings X and a leisurely tube to Wood Lane or White City depending on tube works. Pop in to Westfield with the missus a coffee or 2 then the stroll to the ground. Love walking down SAR before the game, hearing all the fans with their views on the pre-season and the season ahead.

Having a few bets at work on us winning 6-0, well we had 0-4 and 0-5 and I can't see us losing 0-6 so its a big win me thinks
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Leave Gloucester around 11.30am - take the A40 to Oxford - take a p iss at Tesco's if required - follow the ring road to the M40 - down the old Hanger Lane - turn left and park up by wormwood scrubs - across the railway bridge near hospital - cross the A40 - straight into tasty wings for a number 2 ( that's a meal not a s hit) and meet up with all the other Gloucester/Cheltenham based R's about 1.30 - take a walk down to stadium - pop into shop or buy tickets for next game - then enter stadium about 2.30. Happy Days!!!!

                          Acton!

Might be around Chiswick in the morning, in which case the 94 will have to do.
