  • I get the feeling

that TF and the board are not aiming to get promoted this season.

It looks as though a total offload and overhaul of players is the main priority. It looks this way judging by the amount
of players in talks and have left or look like leaving and the lack of players coming in.

Mid table is my prediction and then a push for promotion in 2014-15. So lets enjoy the ride!!

Wasn't expecting us to be promoted this season anyway to be fair.
Despite Harry and the board banging on about wanting to go up straight away.

Yes, a transitional and consolidatory season would make sense, given the sheer amount of cloth-cutting and wheat-chafing needed.

In that case I'll settle for a 0-0 on Saturday.

Doubt they can afford to hang around the championship, need to get back this year IMO

I think they want to go up but are playing it down. I think whoever signs between now and transfer deadline day will determine what our intentions are.

I think they have invested to much not to have a proper crack at getting back first time of asking

No I reckon the board can afford a season down, which will give a much better
preperation and as Stanley76 said a consolidation period. As a loyal fan, I would not expect
                great miracles this season.
Things will be more stable, just in time for our new stadium on 2015-16 methinks?

I think the board are WRONG..... Yes get rid of dead wood but for gods sake replace them with quality. Not just any numb nut that can lace up some boots. Tony wants players who will give their all? Well I can Fu**ing do that! Might balance the books but we will be watching crud!
Clive was a hero but big Bob was the nuts!

of course they want promotion just playing it down. Trust me come December if we're not in the play-off positions and clear of the following pack 'Arry will be gone. Dont believe the spin
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

The gaps going to start growing bigger and bigger between the Premiership and Championship so the board will see it as a must to be back up as quick as possible. Also doubt Harry would stay unless he's been assured that he'll be backed. The board are simply trimming the deadwood first. One was supposed to be in today and another before the weekend, surprised we haven't announced anything. Still the league won't be won on Saturday and we should have enough to win.
