If we're going to be paying up a large proportion of his contract I'd rather keep him here. He's not the type to sulk and he'll role his sleeves up and get the job done for us. I'd keep him.

Use him otherwise it means another season watching M'bia ffs!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I assume this is more twitter rubbish. It also says that he approached Malky Mackay after the match tonight. I assume the answer must have been no to this since Joey then indicated that Cardiff need to improve massively. So I guess that was a "no" then.

Perhaps he would agree to play for us and take a 50% pay cut. Would save him having to move.

Barton was just the sort of player we were desperate for last season. Hope he stays and plays.

Would be nice, but I doubt Everton are that thick to be honest.

Barton is NOT the kind of player we need to foster team spirit. We will be much better off if he never comes near LR again, no matter how good of a footballer he may be.

Main reason why he needs to stay

As far as I'm aware, Barton has never played in the Scottish, Welsh, or Northern Irish leagues, just the English and French leagues, so to say he's a marked man in 'British' football is not strictly true.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
