Still think Barton is a top player but I don't want players that don't want to be here
Personally I think his move to France was PERFECT for himLast edited by qpr; 31-07-2013, 12:55 PM.Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Nobody in the UK is going to touch Barton with a 100ft barge-pole.
All managers talk to each other - and I can tell you now that he has a very, very bad reputation among them. It was only our desperate situation that made Warnock take a punt on him....... after Newcastle let him go on a free despite not being out of contract. They didn't want a frickin' penny!
So. IMO it's QPR, Marselle on drastically reduced wages (his poor ego.....), or the scrapheap.......Last edited by maverick69; 31-07-2013, 01:09 PM.

Cant believe fans are saying we would of stayed up if we had him. In the season we had him and just managed to stay up, it had nothing to do with Joey. He had constant bad performances, was constantly being booed by us fans. If he was with us last season nothing would of changed. He no better than M'bia. Instead of M'bia we would of played Barton. Not really an improvement. We went wrong when we loaned out Faulin.
Plus the start of our downfall was signing Joey Barton. Everything went downhill then. Phew! Got that of my chest!!!!!'The problem with quotes on the internet is you don't know if they are authentic' - Abraham Lincoln

After he was booed off the pitch against Liverpool, he came back and played some of his best football. I think this is what people are referring to. It was only after the Liverpool match that the team started playing well, and getting points to enable us to stay up.

Think Redknapp is playing with fire if he plays Barton over Granero, Mbia, Jenas or Derry. Thoughts?I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Whatever you say about Mbia he always has played like he does care. I think that is why Harry likes him
