  • Exeter CEO: QPR tie will help Exeter City finances

Exeter City chief executive Julian Tagg says the club's Capital One Cup first round tie with QPR will significantly help the club's finances.

A bit old but thought to share http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22940261

It certainly will after we lose and they progress to the next round, maybe that's what he meant.

Really good seeing stuff like this. I've got a soft spot for Exeter so this tie is good for me
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I work in Exeter but I'm not going to the cup match after the disrespectful way they treated QPR fans at the recent friendly...shoved us into some grotty corner of the ground where we couldnt see a thing whilst the area behind the goal was empty....let them rot!

I went as well, bit puzzling why they herded us in the corner but I'll be there, clubs like Exeter deserve our support
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Surprised the article didn't publish their chairman's other comments..........................the bit where he said this aint a bad draw but personally he wished it had been Fulham that got relegated and drawn against them so they could have maximised the profit of the massive away support.
