  • Players in the last year of their contracts with QPR are ...

    For anyone whos interested

Green, Traore, Young, Ferdinand, Mbia, Derry, Jenas, Faurlin, Ephraim, Park, Zamora & Johnson.

Next season id keep Jenas & Faurlin out of that lot myself. Maybe Green & Johnson too judging on this season
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Hogan will get an other year he always does

I know Hogan keeps his head down and does not rock the boat but is he any better then the others picking up a fat wage, he signs up knowing he is never going to play

I don't get the love for Jenas, he about as dynamic as a plank of wood.

Might do a job ish this season but I wouldn't renew his contract after that!

We tend to judge players on their past clubs, he was decent about 5 years ago now similar to park.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I like Jenas think he is a steady head. Never let us down last season and always shows for the ball and never hid like some did. Think he is actually a better player then he has showed so far

The point I am making west is that he won't create many chances from central midfield.

We have to many players like this, that would prefer to pass sideways backwards, I'd still like to see a replacement for Adel because I don't see much. Granero possibly but didn't show much of that last season. I can't see us creating hatfuls of chances that zamora and johnson will need because neither are 1 chance 1 goal strikers.

            Add to that list -

            Hill
            Balanta
A fair few young'uns, some of whom even have squad numbers.

Not sure about Jenas staying, he did not play against Southend, nor did he play in the game behind doors. Nobody has said that he is injured.

I like Jenas because he's steady, plays it simple, you know what you're going to get from him, has an eye for goal outside the box. Doesn't do much wrong. Quietly ticks along & is no trouble with a good spirit

Not a world beater but sometimes you just need steady players

Exactly. Didn't do anything special last year but did well enough to make him stand out amongst the other dross that was on the pitch for us. May need to do a bit more this year but I am sure he is capable.
