Lot of rumours are flying around about who is leaving and who is coming. The reality is that the club will not oppose any player who wants to leave. Jamie Mackie is case 1; if Faurlin is sold, that's case 2. I think both are not on big wages and will be of great help in CCC. As I see it, the owners wants to reduce our wage bill and it means whoever wants to leave they want stand in their way.
A lot of talk is being said that we will return to the Premier on our first time of asking. I do not see it that way. I hope I am wrong, but I cannot see us getting better then 8th to 10th! I watched the friendlies we played and I was not that optimistic. Zamora is very poor. Granero is trying to dictate the tempo, however he will find it hard in the CCC. Suk Young was brilliant against Udinese, however very poor against Southend. SWP is the same. Full of running without much impact.
On a positive note, Onohua was brilliant in every game he played. Johnson was also good, however I am not sure how long he will survive! Mbia played well against Southend.
On to the new signings. Simpson is very good. Henry is a fighter. As for Dunne.....he looks very slow and overweight. However has loads of experience. No wonder HR just said that he wants to add 4 to 5 new signings!
