I don't suppose many fans will be sad to see the back of him.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

      This.

But then in Madaras eyes neither player could do no wrong.

Think he will start paving his own way out to a new club now.

Park wasnt "asked" if he wanted to go the same as he wasnt "asked" if he wanted to leave Utd. The blind loyalty of these Korean fans is laughable. Park has been very poor and is on big money, Harry knows this and wanted shot of him. I just feel sorry for PSV fans as not only are they getting a player completely different from the one they had before but one whose legs have gone with no technical ability that finds it hard to stay on his feet these days. Good riddance and bad luck PSV.

No more JS PArk threads.....if taarabt leaves as well; whoever earns the money of the adverts on this site will see a massive drop in income.

Contrary to your post, Park was indeed "asked" if he wanted to leave United and join QPR by Mark Hughes and Tony Fernandes. Park was "asked" by PSV (and perhaps also HR) about whether he wanted to move to PSV.

Park is currently taking a medical exam at PSV. Before such a step could be taken, an official request would have been made by PSV to QPR, and discussion would have ensued between management (HR) and the player (Park). Park would not have flown out to get a medical at PSV without first clearing it with the manager. The only question mark is, did Park speak with HR before PSV made the formal request, or vice versa. You may be right that HR did not ask Park, and that it was the other way around. In any case, it does not change the fact that Park is making the transfer of his own volition.

He was not wanted at Utd as he was no longer up to the task. He was not wanted at QPR because he has been so poor and not worth his wage.... spin it however you like fanboy.

Spin it however you like, the fact is that Park was wanted by QPR and left United by his own volition. SAF wanted him to stay on as a sub, but Park wanted more playing time.

The fact is that Park is wanted by PSV. Park was wanted by other clubs but he turned down those offers to stay with QPR. If indeed HR and TF wanted him gone, they would have forced his hand to transfer to those clubs, but they were fine with leaving Park on the payroll if it came to that, so they left the decision up to him. When PSV came calling, Park actually wanted to accept their offer, and the result is that HR has respected that decision.

Of course, I'm sure you would much rather believe that QPR is such a worthless club that Park only made the move to QPR from United because he had zero choice in the matter, and that HR wanted to get rid of him ASAP, and that Park begged Philip Cocu and RVN for the transfer to PSV. What a joke of a fan you are.

The truth is that Park found QPR a worthy club to transfer to, and now he is moving on of his own free will.

                  Lets be honest -

I agree that Park may well be looking to move on from QPR since the relegation to a division below the Prem.

However, the facts remain that Park struggled to feature in a VERY poor QPR side who got relegated and therefore he is not up to the level he was once at.

Park is a good player when around good players (Hence being good at united, especially big matches). He works hard and does a lot jobs on the field that goes unnoticed sometimes and for that he deserves credit he gets.

Sadly, he wasnt good for us and for the wages he is on. HR and the board probably want him to leave if a good deal is available for him too.

Park probably doesnt care where he plays this late in his career.

But to say he had a choice to stay at United is crazy, he got let go because he was no longer rated by SAF! - Like all the other rejects that get dropped.

Sub means Nothing. Macheda somehow earns a living from United as a sub now and then and he is sh1t!

These Park fans just wont have it (all 4 of them)

Was good enough for Utd but decided to leave and come to QPR ? Fergie got rid of the rubbish like he has done in the past at the right time. We used Park for marketing (wasnt he in Asia with TF last week?) but for the wages he is on compared to the non impact he has in every game he needed to be got rid of. Harry like FErgie has got rid of him. Well done Harry. Another useless sh1t player off the wage bill (well 60% of his wages anyway according to reports).

I keep having to point this out, but SAF played Park over Valencia in the crucial Man City game which decided the outcome of the season, despite the fact that he was not in good form due to reduced playing time. He had not played in weeks, yet SAF started him over Valencia. That should tell you something about how SAF rated him.

Of course, the outcome of that particular game would have negatively affected SAF's level of trust in Park, but trust built over that many seasons does not go from 75% to 0% after one terrible game. If Park did not take up MH and TF's offer, he would have stayed on as a sub and starter for the occasional big game. Macheda was never a big-game player at United and never had the level of trust that SAF gave to Park.

Granted, Park would have likely played less and less, and would have been started in less big games as well, unless he turned his performance around in a big way in the following season. Likely? Of course not. But he had a choice to stay and he chose to play more at QPR than play occasionally at United.

I agree that Park is a lesser player now than he was a couple seasons ago at United, but even at this point HR and TF were not anxious to get rid of him, and Park had the option to stay at QPR this season or leave. He turned down some offers (Toronto) but when PSV came calling in the form of RVN (his buddy from United) and Cocu (former teammate at PSV), he turned down yet another offer (New York, offered higher salary) to move to PSV, his former club.

Of course, things may have been different if there was some great offer for Park's transfer, HR and TF would have probably sold Park in that case, but the offers made were moderate and thus HR and TF were left to assess Park's value based on performance and marketability, and they were not too anxious to sell. PSV did not make a huge offer either, and the reason why HR has opted to let Park go is because Park wanted to make the move to PSV. If Park did not come calling, Park would have been happy enough to stay and contribute and HR would have been okay with keeping him.

                            Facts

                            1. Park WAS a half decent player
                            2. Park was SOLD to QPR and therefore DEEMED not needed
                            3. QPR feel they DONT need him and are HAPPY to let Park go, therefore he is again seen as not needed no longer.
                            4. QPR have better players than Park now
                            5. Park has a pretty terrible season

                            END

I think its hard to try and work around this one, I like Mackie and I stood up for him a lot of the time.

Facts remain that QPR dont feel that he is needed any longer and therefore he has been sold.

Does it really matter what happened 2 seasons ago. All i care about Park is how he plays for QPR and based on last season, he offers very little! I think he will get eaten alive in the championship and if by selling him we get lose the "tourists" on a match day then so be it. Sat behind a korean family last year of which the mum reading a book, the son playing some sort of gameboy and the dad taking watching the game through the lens of his camera taking pictures of everything.....including his kit kat!

Yes, how funny that you continue to contend that Park would not have been able to retain a position on the United squad as a sub and occasional big game starter. A testament to just how little you know about the club and SAF.

Not funny is your continued denial of the fact that Park chose to transfer to QPR because he believed in MH and TF's vision of a rising QPR. You just cannot believe that a star player from Manchester United would transfer to a club like QPR unless he had no choice in the matter.
