Im going to try this one more time.......Who really gives a flying t0ss how or why he signed. People do not like him on here because he was AWFUL last season and although he probably did not request it, as captain, is very responsible for our constant poor performances. The fact the park lovers are still bashing on about SAF and united, probably sums up the fact you know his QPR CAREER was terrible.

I couldnt care less how a player plays before joing the club, nor how he plays after he leaves the club. All that matters is what he brings to QPR and how he helps the team. In parks case:

He bought a load of fickle fans
Bought next to nothing on the pitch.

Park has had a distinguished career, no doubt about it. Unfortunately his time with us was blighted by poor form and injury and he was used as a scapegoat by many on here. Towards the end of the season he showed that he could still play (assist vs Soton for example) and while I wouldn't mind if he stayed, I will wish him all the best if he leaves. I think we should leave it at that.

Well, he's actually back in London, and if you believe what his father said to the Korean press, it is indeed a loan agreement and all that's left is some "paperwork".

Apparently PSV has a salary cap and Park will be accepting a very significant pay cut to make it work, money is not his prime concern.

Park performed poorly for QPR last season as did everyone else. I've stated that I don't know how many times, even in this thread alone.

It's a bit frustrating to repeat it so many times, but since you genuinely seem to have missed that part of my posts, I have repeated it once more for your benefit.

Why a loan though? I don't understand why they want to sign somone his age for a year, why not just sign him on a freebie? Unless Redknapp just wants him out?

There is a subtle but important difference between agreeing that Park was bad last season, and agreeing that he was never much good and became completely useless on a permanent basis.

The former I have no problem agreeing with, the latter is untrue which is why I've continued to post in this thread in response to such claims.

I dont think anybody is disputing he done a job for united. To try and make out he was pivtol to their recent success is crazy talk. The fact you feel the need to defend his whole career only confirms the theory a lot of people have on here, in that the culture differences are means koreans, along with a few other asian nations, support players as opposed to clubs.

Im guessing every QPR fan on this site, couldnt really care less what he gave united, all they care about is what he done for QPR and as we both agree, its next to nothing.

I m done in this matter as it seems we are having two different debates.

I am not one to criticise your passion for a player as Im generally the same with certain members and the CLUB as a whole.

But, to remind you mate. This is a forum to discuss and to give out individual opinions, some comments can occasionally go too far and personal and for that I understand the need be annoyed.

But to be offended that people find your posts maybe boring or wrong is probably a tad ridiculous and for that reason this may not be the right place for you.

This forum is for QPR fans, we support QPR and follow QPR no matter the problems and league.

As QPR fans we do not care for individual players, we care for passion and unity. We have always been known as a family club and the changes recently made have been huge for us.

1 player doesnt make a team, in particular there was big hopes for Park because as you quite rightly said, he could still have been part of the United setup last season.

NOW, correct me if im wrong.. BUT most of us on here are telling you THAT PARK is no longer a good player. The proof is, that if he was still good enough for United then why the hell couldnt he put a shift in for QPR??

You can go round the houses explaining how PARK has the FINAL decision in his career, but the reason for this is due to what most people call 'A contract' This contract is kept for a certain period of time, and for Park it wasnt due up at QPR. (therfore he had every right to stay..)

QPR have EVERY right to KEEP park regardless of him asking for a transfer request etc. (Therefore this is not DOWN to him)

We feel he is not worthy, needed or valuable enough for QPR no longer and for how much he costs we feel its better to get rid. And by all accounts, thats what is happening.

Another example

Barton - We have every right to keep him, which we have so far until someone meets an agreement.

If we SELL or Release Barton, it is the CLUBS decision. Surely?

You cannot get angry by people telling you that Park has not been a good player, we quite frankly he hasnt. Park had one good game, which was Southampton Away and credit to him for that.

Out of all the players last season IMO Park, Bosingwa, Samba, Hoillet and Granero failed to impress and meet up to their so called big reputations.

I would say everyone else offered at least something more, whether it be passion, goals or in general playing better throughout.

E.g. Mackie was better than Park. Mbia was better than Park. Remy was FAR better than Park. Cesar was better than park. HILL AND Nelson showed more passion and the way to be captains.

To finish, Park isnt QPR. He is a marketing figure.

We support QPR not Park, but if he stays with us then I will get behind him like the other ten members on the field for us.

If Park leaves QPR and we dont see you posting on here any longer, then it will prove HUGE points that you are only here for one reason. Proving that PARK served his need.

I've hardly seen a lot of evidence for him being offended. If anything he's remained very calm which can't be easy when he's in the overwhelming minority. Furthermore he's stated that he's a QPR fan (as well as a Park fan), and as long as that remains the case he's welcome to post here as long as he wishes, and its not for anyone to try and drive him off here.
