If fit and played down the middle Andy Johnson will score the goals..panic over.

      He's ****.

Reminds me of a younger BZ. No urgency, not that quick, hardly ever scores. I'd be gutted if that's the kind of player we've resorted to looking at if we're after goals.

        Jesus, no thanks.

He is the typical example of a modern day young footballer touted to have nog potential. Ie, got pro contract young, talked up, got complacent, got bigger money move, got more complacent, then went backwards as thoguht he'd already made it.

Done nothing of note for years so how will he improve us?????

Bring back the good old days with youth players on YTS cleaning the pro's boots and make them actually do everything to make the grade and become a first tema player. Moderd day talented youngsters have it all, including massive wages before they've done anything and it ruins many of them.

Might as well get Conner Cruise or Maynard, both just as s.hite in their respective fields

I thought he was good with potential when he was with Ipswich. He's only 20, scored 13 goals for Ipswich from 65 appearances and was 18 when he left them.
                QPR fan since1987

Why slate a player who was quite good when he played at this level for Ipswich. He is very young and the pressure he had too handle must have been horrific. Besides; look what happened to Jason Puncheon when he left us and went to Soton.
Not saying that Wickham is the solution with a capital S, but with the right mix of players around he might actually find back to his old form ,IMO.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

No thanks. We've got enough non-scoring strikers. 1 goal in 26 appearances for Sunderland?

I actually rate the lad and think he hasa probably struggled at sunderland because they have never given him a real good run of games to prove himseelf. He is in and out all the time.

I would love to have him down here and think it is probably a possiblity as i can see Di Canio splashing out on average italians
