  • How are you feeling as we stand?

I'm no longer upbeat if I'm honest.

It's also to do with the names of players that we're connected to, it feels like we're building a team to stay away from the drop zone then promotion.

Let's hope next week is a better week.

    im 50.50

I think as a fan, if I knew what we had or who we was looking to keep then I would be happier. (e.g. Remy staying is going to be key as we currently only have two strikers to name)

But making a rough guess I think we have the basis for a good tight squad.

We need to get rid of one or two and we still need 3-4 IMO to add to the depth.

    Striker, AM and CB

A winger would be nice, Mr Townsend especially

This league is always blaaaady hard, and you can never really tell how your team will do.

The likes of Boro, Leicester, Brighton, Watford, Blackburn, Bolton, Reading and Wigan alone worry me.

Well, at least bookies are still blithe about our prospects.
Topping the list of promotion candidates ... what are they smoking?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Lets go back to the 2010/11 pre-season.
We had the likes of Ramage,Hall, Borrowdale,Gorkks, Connolly in defence, we had Akos, Rowlands, Cook,Ephrain, Faurlin, Legs, remember Giorgos Tofas?? in midfield and Ageymang, Vine (who didn't want to play for us the same with ,Heidar) up front.
Warnock signed Leon Clarke, Mackie, Kenny, Derry, Hill, Orr.
Now none of those signings with the greatest of respect to those boys had us jumping up and down with joy did they? But you talk of them now and in the short time they've been with us they will always be remembered fondly. Did anyone think those signings would be in the team that won the league that year? A team that never dropped lower than second place all season?
Lets just see what happens, the reason imo that we're the butt of all the snide remarks and p*ss taking is because most other fans know that with those signins last season we should never have been relelgated
and so because we fell flat on our faces these fans are loving it. We have a better players than the last time we were in the Championship lets hope we see them play as a team this season

Hard to tell. Who'd have thought our promotion squad would get us up at the start of that season. A couple of decent strikers and I'll feel a lot better. We need 70 goals based on the last 5 seasons' stats for promoted sides.

All I know is I've been following the R,s since 1966, lots of up and downs, I suppose more downs, but I've got my season ticket as i will next year and the year after who ever is playing/managing, Que sera sera!

If we get off to a good start with a win on sat and get a fair wind behind us think we will have a decent enough season. But Saturday is key we need to shake off that loosing habit which we have got into the last two seasons so if we loose on Saturday well ..........................

good op. up until yest i had us down for battling against another relegation. but after the preformance of henry last night along with tweets from barton today, im thinking mid table now which in my view is pretty good.

if we add certian players over the next few weeks we can fight for the play offs.

my potential team for next season.

                      -------------------------green----------------------

                      simpson---onough---------new cb--------trore/suk young

                      --------------------------henry-------------------------------

                      townsend/swp---furlain-----barton-------hoilett/philips

                      -------------------------remy-----------------------------

subs; murphy, hill, dunne, birdcott, one of swp or philips, austin, johnson.

or 442 dropping furlin to the bench and adding austin up front.

surley that squad of 18 would get us at least a playoff spot.

2 potential cripples and a potential jailbird up front makes me wonder where the goals will come from if those 2 break down and the other faces trial.

The reason we are favs with the bookies is coz they know how strong we still are it just needs for the negative attitude to stop and players putting in a shift and with 2 wins against sheff weds& Huddersfield which are 2 very winnable games the confidence will grow and we could become very hard to beat

I'm feeling good. We just have to trust the manager. He is the one who knows which players who do not have the right attitude. We dont really know whats going on behind the scene, theres just a lot of speculation which some fans consider facts. Fact is we know **** and i think it was the wrong move to force Bosingwa out (by boing him) and limit HR options.

Our squad is strong and we barely stayed up last season. If we get rid of the bad eggs and keep the rest while adding a few I think we will be do very well. Whats important though we need 4 strikers. Hopefully well bring in some good on loan or permanently.
