Okay, lets assume our own fans will come back with a reduction, how is it done, not to upset the current season ticket holders and regulars?

Don;'t get me wrong, great for a supporter who is skint to pay a tenner for example, but how would the fan who pays £20 or £30 feel?

    Any ideas,,,,,,,,,,

How do we feel this ground up and make it a fortress again? I do think it comes with results on the pitch, but could be wrong.

    So, what is the alternative?
I remember reading that we had some of the best sports marketing brains in the business sitting on the board at W12 and all they are doing is copying Fulham FC's business plan.

First off I would be against a nuteral part of the ground, for one it would have no atmosphere, second the stewards would go hell for leather to make sure all surrounding it 'behaved like gents', thirdly I could see marketing bieng aimed that way instead of at the true fans. I have other issues with it too but those are my biggest concerns.

So how to fill the ground back up with our own, and lets face it we know we have enough!

For starters it is too late this season without having to really lay something on for season ticket holder, I feel that would be an administrative nightmare. I think we have too look at next season for any big changes.
In the short term deals could be done, cheaper walk up tickets but an offer for season ticket holders for a free pint and program/coffee and program ect.
The club also needs to re engage with the fan base ( efforts are being made at last so I comend the club on that ) maybe a fans forum would be a good start?
Players can do thier bit too, make them accessable again ( as players in the past have been ) and that goes a long way.
The them and us mentality that has been done will take alot of work to eradicate now but its not impossible, lose that feeling and I am sure more will turn up or make a greater effort to turn up.

Just my thoughts of course but I have seen what makes our crouds ebb and flow over 40 years.
