  • What ABout a "Neutral" End Like Fulham?

We seem to bring in the tourists, how about they have a small portion of the ground set aside for them?

Good idea. Lower School End. No need to offer the larger allocation to visitors unless they specifically request and can only see, realistically, Newcastle or Palace getting close to needing enough tickets to go into the bottom tier this season.

That being the case, the School end does need to become more "first time visitor friendly" as does much of the signage and personnel outside the ground on a matchday tbh.

    I'll invoice Ali later.....

I presume Pete's post isnt actually tongue in cheek, and presume it relates to any ideas to improve gates/receipts.

So here's a good one to send back to Ali/GP- drop the prices to reasonable levels and win back the hearts and minds of the thousands of QPR fans who cant afford/cant be ar$ed to watch the Rangers every week. We were getting 15-17,000 back in the promotion year, and that was watching League One teams. We're lucky to scrape 13-14,000 this season, and there's been more atmosphere on the moon lately.

Its a results on the pitch business.

Not been able to prove it yet, but without a shadow of a doubt Top 6 come March, this ground will be filled to the rafters. (even Gold sectons)

PS GP doesn't set matchday prices, if he did they would be lower

On what basis do you think we'll be Top 6 by March? Seriously, I'm genuinely interested?

                  No reason, why we cannot.

All the doom and gloom merchants will let you believe we have no chance, but ask me again at Christmas. We are only 5 games in, manager getting used to his players and team getting used to playing different styles.

The only thing that genuinely concerns me is this..

I don't doubt players ability, but to do they thrive on pressure?? This will come on them, as the season unfolds , when a win is needed we've tended to fold and not win them.

That would be my concern, the bottle of the players and the ability to play for the badge and supporters when under the cosh. I am not convinced metally they all have it, hopefully a leader like Watson maybe a great asset.

In a nutshell, our squad is techincally good enough without question, but they don't seem to thrive on pressure when backs are against the wall

Fulham actively promote the Putney end as a neutral area and tend to fill it. They're only a laughing stock to those who can't see the sense in it. IMO.

When they do in the school end, it never fills?

                          They only reduce for familys.
Not so much for young people that have a heavy mortgage and have been put on a 4 day week.
So a discount that suits all would fill the ground
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You might get yer jap neutral interested in a prem match, but championship ???

Anyway lower the farking prices so's our fans can afford to come and watch, and foolham can keep their neutral stand..

Your find Fulham have very decent prices and that is for Premiership football.
