Not being a lawyer i dont know for sure jmelanie, however, if Tevez can just move country and not bother with the community service he was given, i reckon Remy can do whatever he wants!
Nothing to be gained by loaning as i see it. If he "tears it up" as some popel are suggessting, i would rather his 25 + goals are for us and gets us promoted, which is worth a lot more than any fee we would recieve for him.
As we are now a financially secure club (i hope!), I dont see why we shoudl have to sell anyone! is he is our best player, most probably will score for fun next year, why sell him?

no one will want a permanent deal for him until his rape trial is dealt with. Why stump up millions for a player who could be in jail and english career wrecked in a few months. Much less risky to take on loan for now to see how it turns out. You can see thier reasoning.
I say again - NO ONE is going to stump up the cash for him until january when he will either be in jail or aquitted. Until then we have to pay his wages and use him or loan him out to a club willing to cover some of his wages to save a bit of money.
I think if hes not going this transfer window we may as well use him. Let him get a few goals for us.Last edited by Superhoop Jim; 29-07-2013, 11:34 AM.

Harry said he hoped he would be back training on Wednesday. We will see what happens then.

Well, allegedly there is a behind closed doors "friendly" today with Wall - but if that info is true, my guess is it will be for fringe players because it is so unusual to play a team from the same league pre season. If true, I doubt Remy would be involved and like said above, HR expected him to be fit for training by the middle of the week.
Inclined to take all info with a pinch of salt if I'm honest#standuptocancer

As others have said, if you want him, stump up the 8M, otherwise get lost.
And if for some reason we do loan him out:
1. The borrower can pay ALL of his wages,
2. PLUS a LOAN FEE of "8M divided by (the lengh of his contract with us)". When his contract is up, he moves for free, and our 8M investment is gone. So, if you want him for one of those years, you need to pay your share of the original transfer fee. (e.g. If his contract with us is for 3 years, the loan fee would be 8M/3 = 2.67M - which I would round to a nice even 3M!)
Anything less and we are fools - and you know what happens to a fool and his money.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.
