Interesting point about the first 5 games, they tell you a LOT more than you might imagine about your season.

The year we were promoted I was over in Sept. and there was an article in the Times that said in 8 of the last 11 seasons, the teams that were first and second in the Championship after 5 games (I think it was 5 games - it wasn't very many anyway) were both promoted! At the time we and Cardiff were in the top two (I can't remember which order), so that season made it 8 of the past 12 years, since Cardiff didn't go up.

Ah interesting .....Just hope to god we get off to a better start than the last 2 years

If Faurlin's sold than some folk on here will have to be put on suicide watch..... But haven't we got to bring people in to replace those who leave??

That is the consolation without TF's backing, if this had happened a few years ago it would be all fire sale and any replacement would do at least they're supposedly trying to bring in decent players
