I'm a tad concerned that, regardless of what players we sign or sell, we're clearly going to start the season unprepared because half the players who line up against Wednesday will probably be gone by September....the season starts next weekend in case we needed reminding.

What's that song? If you can't talk proper shut your mouthSupporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

QPR are like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle.
Like it, or not....We are going to need more than a few of last seasons failures to take a belated step up to the plate.
With less than a week to go, I just cannot see us getting a play-off place, let alone winning the Championship.
Yet another long, hard season, beckons to us all, I'm afraid to say.

Will take a year or two to recover from the mess we are currently in.
Expect the worst, hope for the best should be the mindset going in to the new season.

This.
If it takes a 2 or 3 seasons to rebuild and go up strong then thats what it takes. Dont want a scenario where we go straight back up and then look to buy 11 pre-made ready to go prem rejects with marketable names to become the team. Lets get a few young players from the lower leagues and take them with us. A lot easier to motivate players who are taking a step UP than old prem players who feel they are taking a step DOWN and this has been our problem since the day after we won the Championship title. Just have a feeling the board are in a lot more hurry to get back to the prem than what the fans are.

Was beginning to look forward to it again after the horrors of last season.
Sadly, so far, it would appear that our esteemed manager has done pretty much naff all to address the required issues, so am now expecting him and the team to fail miserably once again.
Shame really, as up until the start of last season I was always pretty positive about things, regardless of the evidence to suggest one shouldn't be.
I really hope I'm wrong, but with Redknapp, I can't see us going up. We were favourites because our squad on paper is so much better than anybody else's and should have been even better after a close season.

Sadly, I fear you are bang on the money there.

We always leave it too late to:
Get new players in,
Start pre season matches (worthwhile ones!),
Get the new kit on sale,
and pretty much anything else that a well run and organised club would do...
Its all part of being a Rangers fan, if it was easy we just wouldn't recognise the club!!!2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!
