Fernandes is merely the custodian of OUR club. He's accountable to the fans, if not on a piece of Limited Company paper then morally and in spirit. No-one want the club to fail but TF isn't above critical review.

Some fans seem to assume that because he tweets his plans and what he intends to do then it will all turn out ok in the end. They also seem to think that he has become a lifelong rangers fan who like every true fan would never walk away from his club. He's not a football fan he is a businessman and he was looking to buy West Ham or Norwich before he came in for us. Only reason he is here is to make money and at the same time to market his other business's. He is a global businessman and spends his time all over the world. For his other business's he has people in charge to run it for him hence we have Beard. Wrong person imo.

im not saying fernandes has failed overall but in football success is measured on the pitch which we all know hasnt happened. now im not saying that we should be in europe either. fact of the matter is were no longer in the premiership like we were when he took over.

and since hughes sacking the transfer fees have stayed the same and so have the wages all that has been added were relegation clauses to the contracts of the players we signed in january. the belt hasnt tightened by much where the budget is concerned

We're also going to be far more aware of our potential dealings than other clubs, so we always have this probably false idea that other team's signings come out of nowhere, or are done under the radar, and ours are played out in public.

I think we have way to many fans on messgaeboards who take the ITK gossip as gospel as its sold as coming directly from the club and therefore associate everything they read with the club as Joe Bloggs info comes X who works in the club. We never get told who X in the club is so any ITK info is taken with a huge pinch of salt by me. There are only two ITKs who I take any notice of Ric Roc and previously Walkonby

What is reported on this board is not the official mouth piece of the club and therefore it baffles me how people associate it with the club. The club always make a point of saying until its released by official channels its BS we have reached the point now where people believe the ITKs more then they believe there own club which is a sorry state of affairs

But what you say applies to every club in the premier league including us (now demoted). There are not many signings nowadays which take anyone by surprise because the power has shifted from clubs to players.

If Surez signs for Arsenal it wont be a surprise, If Febregas goes Man Utd it wont be a surprise as Sky are all over it its not just us its everyone but I feel everyone gets hung up on us like we do our business publically when we are no worse then any other club. What makes the business public is Sky because they have a 24hr news station which they need to justify and fill space on hence why such a big deal is made of the transfer window. If they did not dig and break the news they would have a news channel which reported nothing.

To me the leaks come from players and agents as its in there interest to have everyone knowing what is going on as it brings others into the market which in turn pushes up there salary if their in demand (Hooper is the example)

I would go as far as to say I would not be surprised if it was revealed at a later date that Sky actually pay the agents for the information and leaks as there is no other way they would have the inside knowledge on everything which is going on as its certainly not in a clubs interest to publicise before they do the deal who they want as we have just found out ourselves

So suppose what I am saying is our dealings are no more high profile then anyone else were just dealing in a different transfer sphere then the 80s and 90s due to the explosion of social media, ITKs and 24hr news channels/radio stations

We were promoted under Amit with Warnock as gaffer. Then TF took charge. Since then we have spent millions and got relegated. Only 4 wins all last season ffs, now you cant just blame Hughes, Beard etc...buck stops with Tony as he hired them, he interfered in the dressing room bringing in players for marketing purposes and he ultimately made the big decisions so although the blame is not all his he still should share a hefty percentage. Just because he tweets and gives a few tickets away some fans treat him like a god. Well he's been a bit of a burke tbh

If you think Tony is such a bad chairman what do you think should be done? It is very easy to make destructive criticisms but much more difficult to make constructive suggestions.

he needs someone inbetween himself and redknapp. maybe a director of football or maybe just a more experienced negotiator. hes probably in hungary with caterham at the moment. he needs someone here so he can have that balance between f1 and qpr. itll be hard to negotiate a deal for someone whilst in budapest

Well the chairman of Swansea has known it for ages. That's a club which posts a profit while maintaining Premier League status and didn't hand out massive wages to clapped out players. How far away are we from that? I want this club to run in a sustainable fashion. Fernandes hasn't shown me he's capable of doing that to date.
