  • Are people being too harsh on club?

Think fair to say majority of us disappointed with not getting Hooper albeit to an extent that may be due to Dazzer assuring us it was a, boom!, done deal and getting our expectations up along with 'Arry alluding to it being a virtually done deal.

Some of the players we are going for are going to attract Premiership interest and to put it simply the majority of players will go for playing at a the highest level given the choice. Nothing anyone at the club can do about that. All they can do is reach a deal with the other club, try and agree personal terms and cross their fingers. From what we know they did that and getting Hooper from Celtic would have been a major coup we had no real right to expect them to achieve yet came so close to getting done. If anything they deserve praise for having ambition of going after high calibre players and almost getting them.

We did get Danny Simpson after all depsite alleged late interest from West Brom and some Serie A club which shows this can work and we have also added Dunne and Henry to boost squad.

No question we need a striker or two but having had time to think about it have to say think club have done well so far this window and still time to go. If we end this window without a striker that may be another thing altogether! Be nice to shift a few as well although can't force other clubs to buy our bandits.

Don't think were being harsh on the club No.
These are all well paid players, coaches and businessman and we the fans suffer the most when they keep getting things wrong.
We pay our good money to watch the team and club.

      Good post though.

          I don't think so

Harry once again contradicted himself when he said we need players over the summer ready for the season. We haven't got a striker & winger we needed & the season start like a week

Harry says so much as he's a media **** & doesn't back himself up. People aren't being harsh enough tbh

You know for fact Warnock would of had his team together for the Exeter friendly (bar maybe 1 player) & we'd be quite happy at this stage
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What if Remy is now defiantly staying and the club wants to use the some of the Hooper money on Townsend?

How do the fans "suffer"? You passion (QPR) is being massively subsidised by three very wealthy businessmen. Take their money out and on our gates and creaking infrastructure we would do well to survive in League One. Fans complain now because we went after Hooper (unrealistic) just a few days after complaining that we signed Henry (not good enough). Running a football club is clearly very, very easy from a keyboard - less so in the real world. If you must cast around for blame in this what about Harry, who was played for a fool by Hooper's agent and then sounded off in the media about how it was virtually a done deal, and then when he was made to look a prize chump, blamed the board. But hey, Harry's a "football man" so can do no wrong...

They all should take blame for the way the club is at the moment... The fans suffer.
A businessman with money can always go on and find another club or another hobby. We pick up the pieces if they do.

Everyone realises that running a football club would no way be easy, we just seem to of made it alot harder than other clubs do.

I probably should have said board rather than club. 'Arry has been making himself look an idiot every time he picks up a microphone for years now, that goes without saying.

Are we in that bad a shape? You look at some of the clubs, including ones bigger than us, and the position they are in. If board keep the faith we have a bright future. New ground and training facilities, aspiring Premiership side with backing and a long term plan. I really can't think of a similar sized club in a better position.

Whilst mistakes have been made and there will always be ups and downs along the way we are looking good. Whilst I enjoyed the skint League 1 days wondering if we were going to survive (was a fun time notwithstanding financial position) this has to be better.

Still feel that Phil Beard is very incompetent at what he does. Doesn't seem to know how to do good deals for the club. Fernandes has too much faith in him.

I think the whole club in a way "suffers" from the "Tango and Cash" days. Still, 4 or 5 years later on, we are struggling to sort out our reputation in many ways.As a result of this; We are not a given choice for any player or his agent. To word it a bit different and quite simple; QPR compared with clubs like Norwich, West Brom and Swansea are a club in chaos. Anyway, despite our shortcomings and hickups; I fell we are heading in the right direction.
                      QPR
                      Best team in the world

                        No.

If anything we're going too easy on the board. They're evil people, all of them. Trying to take control of all transfers and farking em all up. That's just the tip of the iceberg, I've been led to believe that they are actually plotting to overthrow the queen and take control of the country.

Also, I genuinely think our board were behind the assasination of JFK.
