Yea half the transfer window to go but we are just over a week away from the season. And if were continuing to buy up until the transfer window were in the same situation
as last year with a team not gelling until January.. Its a shambles. And if you think its all absoloute rubbish then enjoy potential League 1 football cos those mercenaries
are not going to like midweek winter trips up north.

I've always tried to be really positive ever since Tony and the board came in and i've always thought we should not be negative as fans!

But the last few days now we've lost out on Hooper and Mackie's handed in a transfer request, i've thought.. 'WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BE NEGATIVE'
The club is a continual shambles at the moment. We seem to be the only club with money that doesn't know what to do with it!

Tony and Beard are good businessman but it seems its one mistake after another and Harry needs to let go of his ego and stop putting his face in the camera.
We've pretty much only had 2 positive things in the last 2 years and that was beating the scum twice. Other than that its been a shambolic.

And if Mr QPR (Mackie) wants out, then that is truely saying something even more about the state of the club.
The ego's are running the show and always have been ever since Fernandes and co. came in.
From players up to management in Harry. Were always in the limelight and now we have 2 strikers left!

I thought we were re-shaping the team this pre-season?!.. We've re-shaped it in getting rid of half the players that showed heart for the club!
i.e. DJ Campbell whose a fan and scores for fun in the Champ.. Where is the logic in that!!
And now were just over a week away to the season and we've still got all the mercenaries!

Absoloute shambles.. im concerned, P*ssed off and have pretty much had enough of it. Every other club just laughs at us.
We can't even build a training ground without problems along the way.

You can try and be positive all you want but there actually isnt any in the grand scheme of things. No matter how hard the club try's to smooth things over
and make everything rosey in the garden, there just isnt anything to be positive about.

Barton hasn't been near our club for a year.
Taarabt been sent away.
Bosingwa most likely going abroad.
Granero hardly has a ****ibg ego same goes for swp and Zamora .
Diakite has disappeared .
So I don't actually get your point the egos have been sent away not went on tour ect so wtf are you on about. They can't hinder our team as they are not here.
So it not ok for Harry to be outspoken but it was for king holloway?
It's not about the team gelling at all many teams do fine with buying late. which we have already signed 3 first team players already.

I am concerned, but I always felt it would be like this pre season.The players Harry brought in....Samba didn't work but we got our money back.Townsend was a success...Remy is still here...and then there's jenas

The players he is trying to shift were all brought in by previous regimes, so not entirely his fault that ...Boswinga would rather sit on his ar.s for 60K of whatever, that drop to 30K I mean you have to laugh when the likes of Arsenal are telling Caser to drop his wages to come and play for them....That's the mess we are in.

The selling of Mackie was a surprise to me, but maybe he just had enough of all the above sh.t and could see it dragging on through this season.

Personally... as a footballer , if approached by QPR now...unless I was past my sell by date... I would even give them a second look.

Harry is a but of a plonker, but I don't blame him for the mess...but I think we are still in for a bumpy ride over next 6 months or so.

i dont think a club our size has any god given right to be in the big time when much bigger clubs with far bigger fan bases struggle to compeat.....yet with our financial backing over the last six years we should at least be on par with the ,dare i say it, club along the riverside!

Very true, what we have done over the last two seasons is gone big (meaning contracts etc) on players that simply saw us as a lottery win and not pursued with the same zest those that would have improved us.

Almost like a poorly run business where you see it day out day in, managers fall over backwards bringing in highly paid consultants because they talk shi*e at interview, who end up doing nothing and actually do worse then if they didnt turn up to, at the expense of honest loyal grafters.

Couldn't agree more with the OP.I've renewed my season ticket for the 62 nd year in a row and never felt more depressed and underwhelmed as I do at present.The Hooper saga I believe has set a president and its no wonder players like Crouch,Parker and possibly Austin and Townsend may end up giving us the cold shoulder.Oldies have been brought in to shore up the defence and as for strikers...God help us.What was it....2 goals in pre season friendliest,Mackie omitted for obvious reasons and Remy yet to kick a ball I believe and with Sheff Wed beating Glasgow Rangers the other day,be prepared for a disappointing start on 3rd August,just like this time last tear against Swansea.Our only hope is that the youngsters come good and we eventually boot out the mercenaries.
