Doesn't stop LiveJasmin, PartyPoker or "Get ripped in 6 weeks" ads popping up on mine :strive:
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I take it you have no trouble ignoring them though. The last one at least.....

I too find the ads annoying and they, yes they, are slowing down the refreshing of pages and I get jumps when refreshing. On the other hand I am not using a computer but a phone, and I know why this is happening so it's not an issue! Yippee

I use iPhone and the banner ad at the top is strategically placed just contacting 'qpr fans' so it means that with my clumsy fingers I hit it more times than not, presumably that is the intention of the design. I never get pop ups or such like though tbf.

I'm a s*cker for conspiracy theories but this is far-fetched even for me . You need to take into account that there are many different-resolutions screens out there, on phones and PCs, and the precise placing of this or that ad often depends on a particular horizontal resolution and your browser's scaling settings (default zoom percentage) as well.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I'll take a photo and post it so.

Oh I believe you, just pointing out that ad positions are not something that can be always equally set for all screens/browser preferences, so no intent on our part to confuse users and get more clicks through that
