  • Best Jamie Mackie Memories

As seems likely Jamie has played his last game in a rangers shirt what is your favourite mackie memory?

For me it's the second goal vs Leicester away in the promotion winning season - not Jamie's best effort by far but for me it signified that we had a real chance of promition to the promised land after 15 years of hurt.

There's only one Jamie mackie, one Jamie mackie

The goal away at city is up there for me, total backs against the wall so to score that with 10 men was something else

                Quite a few then tbh

We lost but his goal up at Blackburn was special

Some people have short memories yes he works hard but is so so short of quality. Some say quality in the Championship but the majority of his goals came right at the start of the season before a long barren spell. For the memories above there are many bad misses or head down running into defenders moments.

Agree Ricky, had a purple patch but Wayne Routledge was a huge improvement and tbf to Jamie he agreed!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Love Jamie Mackie, and admire his commitment and work rate. He'll be missed if he goes to Forest.

Some rangers fans really irritate me - everyone knows Jamie is not the most technically gifted player - but when he put on a rangers shirt you knew he was proud to wear the colours and gave everything for the cause. He did score some vital goals for the club in a period of relative success for rangers. No he isn't in legend territory - but a nice bloke that gave a f uck about the fans and the club.

Thank you Jamie for your service
