Oh come on, like I said a typical overreaction for losing hooper.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Worth a least £2million if not a bit more, time to move him on thanks for the memories
Come on, he clearly is not premier league level but are you saying he couldn't do a job for us in the championship. ?

He is strong and fit as fcuck and will run through walls like he did 2 years ago.

In all fairness so were most of the rest of the squad. I think it unfair to single Mackie out for criticism and say he's not good enough when none of them were.

Cannot afford to let him go until we get a replacement. Harry has left us short up front.

Some very narrow viewed fans at our club.

I learnt my lesson when I used to berate Ian Holloway the player and then when he had left you realised what he did for the team.

If you had a team of 11 with JM's attitude you'd do very, very well. Not neccessarily his ability as you need a blend -- he's not going to beat 4 players on mazey runs and slot it into the top corner; if he had that in his locker he'd not of played for us. What he does is give a platform for others whilst also chipping in with the odd "Derby County moment".
At our level that is priceless - maybe not so required in the Prem.

We've let a gem go IF he does leave.
I dont understand strengthening a rival at our expense..... for all those saying good job he's going tell me just who do you replace him with for a fraction of the cost???
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Mackie will be a loss ahead if a tough old Championship season. Limited ability but will run through walls for his side. Good luck to him wherever he ends up - will always get a good reception from me .
Of course I don't know what goes on behind closed doors! Was an educated guess based on the fact he's barely played since Harry arrived.

He could be a seriously useful player at this level. Don't like the idea of another champ side buying him, apart from anything it guarentees he will score against us this season at least once.

I think Lambert would be a cracking signing but I think if he did leave Soton he may follow adkins to Reading..
